A common problem amongst club golfers is the Hip Spinning out in the downswing.This drill helps to stop your hips from spinning out too fast and gets your lower body and upper body in sync all throughout your downswing.

Steps to follow: Start in your golf stance and then drop your trail foot back behind your lead foot, make some slow smooth swings focusing more on turning your torso and not your hips.

The closed position will make it feel as if your hips are restricted but focus on turning the torso on top of the hips.
