Upper Body Rotation is a great exercise for putting which helps in keeping the upper and lower body separate and to create a strong base when putting.
Step 1- Attach a resistance waist band, extending from a wall/stable pole, to your waist. You should feel as if you are being pulled by the band.
Step 2- Attach a regular resistant band to the same pole, at the level at which you hold your putter.
Step 3- take your putting stance and rotate your upper body through as if you are making a putting stroke. Do this 15 times on each side to keep the body balanced.
Remember- keep your lower body stable while doing the drill.
